Rebels kill 2 Cafgus

DAVAO CITY - COMMUNIST guerrillas executed two militiamen who were buying rice at a market in a village in Toril District here, the military said.
Capt. Emmanuel Garcia, chief of the Public Affairs Office of the 10th Infantry Division, said Benjamin Tayo and Joel Adang, members of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (Cafgu), were unarmed and buying rice at a store in the village when the guerrillas, led by a certain Commander Bobet and Commander Jasmin, attacked.
Tayo was killed instantly while Adang was able to run to a military detachment where he died.
There was no statement from the New People’s Army on the attack.
